Ana Fish is a mural artist bringing bold, slightly chaotic cartoon energy to walls big and small. Originally inspired by animation, her work leans into the weird and wonderful — think grotesque characters, punchy colour palettes, and a playful, unpolished edge that refuses to behave.

Since picking up a spray can in 2023, she’s been steadily scaling up, painting everything from intimate pieces to 25-square-metre murals. Her work has popped up at festivals like Hit the North and Look Up, as well as through collaborations with councils, charities, and private clients.

Ana’s murals often centre around expressive, exaggerated characters — especially women — celebrating realness over perfection. There’s always a sense of humour in her work, but also something a little disruptive, like it might wink at you… or bite.

Whether she’s painting on city walls or in unexpected spaces, Ana Fish is all about making art that feels alive, a bit messy, and impossible to ignore.
