Vane MG

Colombian

Vane MG is a Colombian artist based in London, working across painting and street art. Drawing on her Colombian heritage, background in toy design, and her signature Heart Eyes motif, she creates vivid, playful visual worlds filled with bold colour, neon tones, and emotionally charged female portraits shaped by the energy of the city.

Her work explores identity, cultural roots, and connections to the inner child, blending memory and imagination into imagery that is both accessible and psychologically resonant. She has collaborated with Kew Gardens, where she became the first artist to paint within its historic walls, and has also presented artwork at Tate Modern and the Wellcome Collection.

In 2024, she was awarded Best Latin American Visual Artist in the UK by LA United, and in 2025 was shortlisted as a Dubel Prize finalist.

Her practice moves fluidly between public and gallery spaces, creating bold visual narratives that celebrate culture, emotion, and contemporary urban life.
