With City Jam fast approaching we're on the look out for enthusiastic, reliable volunteers to help ensure that the festival runs smoothly.

Festival Details 

• Friday 1st, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September 2023.

• Volunteers required 09:00-18:00 (lunch break one hour).

• Festival open to public from 10:00-17:00.

• 200 street artists from around the world will be transforming over 100 permanent and temporary walls around the City Centre and Seafront. 

• Two key sites to cover; High Street and surrounds with The Forum as HQ; or Marine Parade with Twenty One as HQ (map will be provided).

• Community Safety and Street Ranger teams available 09:00-20:00, and security teams available 18:00-08:00 (overnight)

General Duties 

• Be positive ambassadors for City Jam and Southend in general.

• Welcome/direct visitors around the festival site.

• Support artists where necessary.

• Observe/report anything you think is amiss/suspicious. 

• Handing out leaflets.

• Role includes lots of walking so a good level of fitness is a must.
